“District 12” T-Shirts & Hoodies by Anthony Pipitone | RedBubble My quick salute to District 12 in the Hunger Games. I tried to go with sort of an old jersey style with a retro-futuristic feel to it (I know those are conflicting ideas, but think Jetsons). The dirty shadow effect is in tribute to the coal miners of D-12, of course :) Hunger Games is soon to be a movie, which looks great, but I recommend the book. It was recommended to me by a couple of friends, and I was a little iffy about it when I saw it’s featured in the “Teen” section at B&N, but it really exceeded my expectations. Although, if you want to take it a step further, I recommend the book, Battle Royale first. HG seems to take a few cues from it, but without plagiarizing it.
