Perhaps I’m being overly harsh, but “The Prequels had an abundance of problems including gross continuity errors, disappointing characterization, and a blatant disregard for the viewers’ intelligences as they tried to cram as many peripheral characters back together when, really, it would have been more believable to just leave them on the sidelines for this one” doesn’t really fit that well.

That said, there were some enjoyable parts to the prequels I speak of, but not enough to make them compare any to the original films.

My quick salute to District 12 in the Hunger Games.

I tried to go with sort of an old jersey style with a retro-futuristic feel to it (I know those are conflicting ideas, but think Jetsons).

The dirty shadow effect is in tribute to the coal miners of D-12, of course :)

Hunger Games is soon to be a movie, which looks great, but I recommend the book. It was recommended to me by a couple of friends, and I was a little iffy about it when I saw it’s featured in the “Teen” section at B&N, but it really exceeded my expectations. Although, if you want to take it a step further, I recommend the book, Battle Royale first. HG seems to take a few cues from it, but without plagiarizing it.
